GAD Youth Center’s mission is to “REBUILD and REDEFINE the village it will take to raise the next generations”. Exemplifying that mission, Arline Gause, GAD’s Founder and CEO, attended the Chamber’s Network of Enterprising Women (CNEW) Non-profit and Small Business Fair held at the Fredericksburg Country Club on September 12, 2024. CNEW offers business owners opportunities to network and build relationships at quarterly functions designed to inspire and empower women at all levels in the workplace.
This event included networking opportunities, a vendor fair, luncheon, and raffle. Guests listened attentively while keynote speakers April Peterson, owner of River Rock Outfitter, and Jan Monroe, Executive Director of Step-VA, shared insights on community outreach and the power of partnerships between non-profit organizations and small businesses.
Our sincerest thanks to CNEW for hosting this fair, which provided GAD an opportunity to connect and collaborate with fellow entrepreneurs while sharing our mission and vision for youth in our community.
